Visual poetry is poetry or art in which the visual arrangement of text, images and symbols is important in conveying the intended effect of the work. It is sometimes referred to as concrete poetry, a term that predates visual poetry, and at one time was synonymous with it. The digital paintings here convey a contemporary interpretation of visual poetry. My work derives from copy art, computer graphics, photography, and a blurring of the line between hand work and electronic in that I often hand paint areas of my prints. This hand work lends a uniqueness to every print.
All works are for sale as high res files, as Iris print or giclee on canvas by contacting me directly. To see more, purchase my books Billboard Art published by TropiChaCha Press or Pairings published by Redfox Press.
